So here it is..

This is one of those ideas that tend to hit me in the middle of the night, when I can't get to sleep. It's 2008, and these are salty times we're living in right now. I started my day this morning, and now halfway through the morning, starting a blog still sounded like a good idea to the self-important side of me. So, I've started a blog.

Though, I am just narcissistic enough to believe that someone may actually read this someday, I'm not so self-important to expect, that who I, actually, am, matters all that much. I get irritated, I get angry, I get excited, and I get going. There may be some other emotions in my shallow existence, but I figure those are enough to qualify me as human enough for a blog. I could be wrong on that; I don't pretend to have all the answers.

I tip my hat to those who have come before me. There are many great blogs in the city already. I call to your attention, those outside these environs, for now: BikeSnobNYC and FatCyclist. While I collect my thoughts, stop over there for a little while, and enjoy the view..
